Dark Matter is an alternative rock band based out of Atlanta, GA. For years, Charly Avalos (Drums  & Chorus) and Franky Ska (Vocals & Lead Guitar) were involved in other local projects with other bands, particulary tribute bands, until formally uniting and establishing Dark Matter in 2019.

We’re a bilingual band. Our Spanish covers focus on Latin American bands like Enanitos Verdes, Soda Estereo, Amantes de Lola, Lucybell, La Cuca, El Tri, Caifanes, Heroes del Silencio and Jguares to name a few.

In English our covers focus on bands like Chevelle, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Ramones, Bullet For My Valentine, Drowning Pool, Three Days Grace, Offspring, System of a Down, Skillet, Sum 41, Metallica, Megadeath and Green day to name a few.
